About the role

  • Junior Manager responsible for accounting and office management at AI consulting firm Perelyn, situated in Munich. Offers hybrid work environment with flexibility and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Preparatory bookkeeping (approx. 70%)
  • Support of ongoing bookkeeping (receipt/document management, invoicing, payment transactions)
  • Preparation and structured compilation of documents for monthly and annual financial statements (in collaboration with our tax advisor)
  • Monitoring and verification of incoming invoices (e.g., payment terms and discount deadlines)
  • Communication with external tax advisors and payroll accounting
  • Document management and organized filing (e.g., contract and deadline management)
  • Support in optimizing and digitizing accounting processes
  • Ensuring smooth administrative operations in the finance area
  • Office Management (approx. 30%)
  • Organization of daily office operations and management of all administrative processes (e.g., coordination of service providers, office supplies management, mail handling)
  • Point of contact for employees' administrative concerns
  • Support in organizing team events
  • Support with the setup and equipping of our new office

Requirements

  • Some initial experience in bookkeeping, administration, or office management
  • Confident user of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel)
  • "Can-do" attitude and the ability to handle tasks independently and see them through to completion
  • Responsible and solution-oriented approach with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and careful handling of data
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management and prioritization abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in German; basic English skills are an advantage
  • Team player and proactive supporter of colleagues
  • Willingness for continuous development and openness to new tools
  • Several years' experience in (preparatory bookkeeping), administration or office management (preferred)
  • Qualification as an office administrator, tax clerk, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and tax fundamentals (preparatory bookkeeping, DATEV, Personio) (preferred)
  • Experience working with tax advisors and payroll accounting (preferred)
