About the role

  • Commercial Manager responsible for driving revenue growth through effective go-to-market strategies at PayJoy. Collaborating with teams to enhance marketing, sales, and lead generation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales team in a country.
  • Collaborate to set sales targets and develop strategies specifically for attracting, retaining and aiming to accelerate admins , monitoring performance of commercial activities using key metrics.
  • Build a strong internal and external communications strategy as well as the public affairs of Payjoy, aligned to our mission and principles.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.).
  • Oversee and continuously improve Sales Promoters processes, including but not limited to training, sales, operations, logistics, billing, financial proposals, and sales documentation.
  • Lead the Panama office in the absence of the Country Manager, owning day-to-day leadership and serving as a cultural role model who instills PayJoy’s values across the country
  • Be the Legal Representative of the country’s operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor in business administration, finance or relevant field
  • Minimum of +8 years of leadership experience in Sales, Marketing and/or Growth with an emphasis on cross-functional and transformation projects, including 2+ years as a people leader.
  • Experience driving transformative initiatives that bring together internal and external communication, people, processes, data/insights and technology into solutions to business problems related to all aspects of the pre & post-sales customer journey, highly focused on the acquisition of new customers and retention of the current ones.
  • Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes and understanding of market research methods and analysis.
  • Effective communication and active listening to understand the Sales teams requirements or identify pain points to propose effective solutions
  • Ability to analyze market data and trends to broader strategic insights
  • Ability to understand and work with Sales funnel concepts
