Responsibilities
Provides strategic, operational, and specialist leadership to manage a portfolio of priority government programs and projects
Supports the full lifecycle of program and project services from design to delivery through monitoring and acquittal
Ensures timely and effective delivery of outcomes
Drives financial sustainability and operational effectiveness by overseeing program governance, compliance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
Oversees program governance, compliance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement in partnership with Delivery Partners and other Branches or Divisions
Leads the end-to-end management and delivery of high profile and high-risk programs from inception to acquittal, including system establishment, design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience
Demonstrated experience at senior management level in a large complex organisation
Proven success in the delivery of large and complex projects on time and within budget
Strong understanding of program and project management frameworks
Ability to manage risks, issues, and changes effectively within a program environment.
Demonstrated experience in economic analysis and evaluation methods for program management within an integrated portfolio.
Experience developing and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships to meet stakeholders’ expectations.
