About the role

  • Senior Manager responsible for leading safety culture and strategy at Transport for NSW. Managing a team to develop and implement safety initiatives while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Join a team as the Senior Manager with direct input and influence with the Senior Leadership team and report directly to the Executive Director
  • Manage a team of Health and Safety practitioners tasked with the development and implementation of innovative safety initiatives across our organisation
  • Oversee and implement safety policies, protocols and procedures, maintain accurate records and facilitates training in compliance with NSW State Government regulations
  • Work closely with senior leaders to embed safety into every aspect of our operations, champion continuous improvement, and influence behavioural change

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to influence at all levels and drive meaningful change
