About the role

  • Principal People Risk and Compliance Analyst managing compliance frameworks at PG&E. Leading risk management and compliance initiatives in the People Business Operations Team while ensuring regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and ongoing enhancement of the People risk management framework
  • Develop and maintain the People risk register, controls documentation, and mitigation plans
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on People-related risk and compliance matters
  • Drive process standardization and continuous improvement using Lean principles
  • Ensure potential risks are communicated to executive leadership and risk committee

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Risk and Insurance, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • 10 or more years of experience in risk or compliance management, utility operations, or related field
  • Experience leveraging PG&E Lean standards and continuous improvement principles
  • Ability to lead large and complex projects working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze business processes and recommend improvements
  • Must have deep understanding of regulatory and compliance developments in the utility sector
