About the role

  • Account executive developing sales for Carta DS software solutions in urban management. Collaborating with internal teams and clients to enhance customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities with local authorities
  • Understand clients' challenges and propose solutions to their management needs
  • Prepare and conduct product demonstrations, respond to calls for tenders/RFPs, and write the technical sections of commercial proposals
  • Present commercial proposals by tailoring sales arguments and negotiating terms with a partnership mindset
  • Ensure optimal customer satisfaction and identify renewal opportunities
  • Manage the sales cycle in collaboration with pre-sales and sales teams

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years in sales or pre-sales of software solutions
  • Able to listen, understand business challenges and propose relevant solutions
  • Comfortable with negotiation, managing the sales cycle and maintaining long-term client relationships
  • Experience with local authorities is a plus
  • Good understanding of SaaS/cloud environments, software architectures and CRM tools
  • Enjoy working cross-functionally with internal teams to drive projects forward
