About the role
- Maintenance Technician providing regular and preventative maintenance to equipment at a pet care manufacturing facility. Collaborating with multiple departments to optimize maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide regular and preventative maintenance in a safe and efficient manner to all plant equipment
- Work collaboratively among the maintenance and controls departments on preventative maintenance optimization and TPM efforts
- Review and actively participate in risk assessments across the plant
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Perform required PM checks and report all problems to supervision
- Learn to confidently operate all production equipment in extrusion and other areas
- Safely and effectively troubleshoot electrical controls circuits
- Address repair needs for building and grounds as needed
- Utilize WMS and SAP maintenance system for work order functions
- Maintain record keeping and inventory of spare parts as required
- Develop training documents and train others
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment
