About the role

  • Enterprise Account Executive driving Mistral’s AI adoption among strategic enterprise customers. Managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing complex agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Development (Strategic Outbound & Qualified Inbound)
  • Drive strategic outreach and leverage introductions to engage high-potential enterprise customers
  • Convert inbound opportunities into high-value partnerships, including upsells and bespoke enterprise agreements
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Value Proposition Validation
  • Support enterprise customers through Proof of Concept (POC) phases, ensuring a smooth and impactful evaluation process
  • Translate successful evaluations into long-term production contracts by demonstrating clear ROI and business impact
  • Align Mistral’s capabilities with customer strategic priorities
  • Deal Management & Closing
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to convert leads into long-term customers
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders throughout the entire sales cycle
  • Lead negotiations and collaborate with legal, technical, and implementation teams to finalize agreements
  • Executive Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with C-level executives, innovation leaders, and senior decision-makers
  • Understand customer strategic priorities and position Mistral’s AI capabilities as a critical enabler of their initiatives
  • Guide executive stakeholders through complex technology adoption decisions
  • Technical Collaboration
  • Develop a strong understanding of Mistral’s AI platform and technical capabilities
  • Work closely with implementation and engineering teams to address technical questions and ensure successful deployments
  • Training & Enablement
  • Share customer insights internally to inform product development and strategy
  • Help internal teams better understand enterprise customer needs and market opportunities

Requirements

  • Experience in strategy consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or similar firms)
  • Strong ability to structure complex problems and translate strategy into action
  • Highly action-oriented with a strong bias toward execution
  • Passion for deal-making and turning opportunities into closed agreements
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
  • Comfortable engaging and influencing C-level executives
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Experience working on large transformation projects (AI, infrastructure, telecom, energy, or digital transformation) (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with AI, data platforms, or enterprise software ecosystems (nice to have)
  • Ideally had a first role in sales; business development, deal closing roles (nice to have)
