About the role

  • Strategy & Business Development Manager at Reaktor, a technology company based in Helsinki. Driving strategic initiatives and collaborating across organization with leadership and industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Reaktor’s direction and strategic priorities are constantly validated by understanding latest developments in the market.
  • Work around Reaktor’s annual strategy cycle to prepare various leadership and board meetings.
  • Work closely with Reaktor Leadership Team, Industry verticals and various other stakeholders to plan initiatives to reach the strategic ambitions and to enable organization to implement them.
  • Lead the effort of annual planning in the fall with eight industry verticals.
  • Work across a wide variety of strategic priorities including but not limited to: consulting offering development, product/platform offering development, AI strategy, international expansion, M&A, and Reaktor Ecosystem synergies with consulting and product business.
  • Contribute to Reaktor’s M&A strategy and process; identifying targets, assessing synergies, and shaping deals.
  • Write various presentations and communication materials as well as perform a wide range of different analyses. You will also run research work.
  • Join a team consisting of three experts and will report to the Chief Strategy Officer.

Requirements

  • have a master’s degree in business or technology and ideally around 4-7 years of experience in management consulting (e.g. McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or similar) or in a corporate strategy / business development role;
  • have a proven ability to design and drive strategic initiatives end-to-end – from problem definition and structured analysis through to actionable plans and implementation enablement;
  • have a track record of influencing and driving organizational change in collaboration with multiple senior stakeholders, including C-suite, business unit leaders and core teams, and corporate function leaders;
  • have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are comfortable building financial models, synthesizing market data, and translating insights into clear strategic recommendations;
  • have experience in working with AI and a growth mindset, agility and eagerness to learn and use the tech. Familiarity with the technology services or digital consulting industry, as well as an understanding of AI-, platform-, or product-based business models, is a big plus;
  • thrive in an autonomous, entrepreneurial environment, handle ambiguity well, and aren’t afraid to get hands-on;
  • have excellent presentation and storytelling skills and communicate fluently in Finnish and English.
