Branch Manager responsible for managing operations at Metcash's Oakleigh South site in Australia. Leading teams to achieve productivity and financial goals while improving service delivery.
Responsibilities
Implement, monitor, and review operational strategies to improve productivity, service delivery standards, and accuracy toward premium service levels and customer satisfaction
Drive continuous improvement to ensure all branch key stakeholders are managing processes and outcomes to achieve positive EBITDA results and reduce expenses
Work closely with warehouse and transport departments and service providers/contractors to maintain building service standards in line with OH&S legislation, HACCP requirements, WorkSafe regulations, and quality assurance
Prepare and maintain headcount, budgets, forecasts, and business plans for the Branch to ensure growth and positive financial results
Monitor and review rostering in line with forecasted labour requirements and wage costs
Requirements
Solid management and leadership experience, a minimum of 3-7 years in a similar role
Proven background in the foodservice or FMCG industry is preferred however not essential
Operational and functional expertise across all areas of sales, inventory, finance, marketing, purchasing, warehousing, and distribution
Business and computer-savvy with a solid understanding of financials against budgets
