About the role
- Branch Manager responsible for managing operations at Metcash's Oakleigh South site in Australia. Leading teams to achieve productivity and financial goals while improving service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Implement, monitor, and review operational strategies to improve productivity, service delivery standards, and accuracy toward premium service levels and customer satisfaction
- Drive continuous improvement to ensure all branch key stakeholders are managing processes and outcomes to achieve positive EBITDA results and reduce expenses
- Work closely with warehouse and transport departments and service providers/contractors to maintain building service standards in line with OH&S legislation, HACCP requirements, WorkSafe regulations, and quality assurance
- Prepare and maintain headcount, budgets, forecasts, and business plans for the Branch to ensure growth and positive financial results
- Monitor and review rostering in line with forecasted labour requirements and wage costs
Requirements
- Solid management and leadership experience, a minimum of 3-7 years in a similar role
- Proven background in the foodservice or FMCG industry is preferred however not essential
- Operational and functional expertise across all areas of sales, inventory, finance, marketing, purchasing, warehousing, and distribution
- Business and computer-savvy with a solid understanding of financials against budgets
