About the role

  • Global IT Systems & Support Specialist at MDIF managing IT systems and user support. Focus on Microsoft 365 and infrastructure resilience for a geographically distributed team.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 and Windows environments (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access).
  • Manage core infrastructure, endpoints, backups, and access controls.
  • Maintain network connectivity (VPNs, routers, switches – MikroTik preferred).
  • Provide responsive L1/L2 support to global staff using a ticketing system.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding, hardware provisioning, and license management.
  • Promote security best practices and contribute to documentation and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in IT systems administration and user support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Relevant technical certifications are strongly preferred (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra, Windows Server, Networking, ITIL).
  • Ongoing professional development in infrastructure, security, or cloud technologies is an asset.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically to MDIF offices and other locations, as required.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies and respond to evolving organizational needs.
