Responsibilities
Oversee research projects from design through to reporting.
Create data‑collection tools, manage fieldwork partners, analyse data sets, and produce high‑quality written assessments.
Contribute to the development of Theories of Change and strategic frameworks.
Analyse and triangulate qualitative and quantitative data to assess performance and effectiveness.
Manipulate and interpret data sets rigorously to generate actionable insights.
Write clear, robust assessment reports and contribute research findings to internal reporting outputs.
Liaise with external fieldwork partners and oversee project management.
Informally manage colleagues contributing to written reports, providing guidance, structure, and quality assurance.
Conduct desk‑based research to support wider insight generation.
Carry out additional duties as required by management of the Europe Insights team.
Requirements
Experience in research, monitoring, or evaluation, ideally across mixed‑methods projects.
Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, with confidence analysing data (SPSS, R, or Stata).
Experience managing research projects from design through to reporting.
Ability to assess the impact of multimedia and digital‑led communications.
Clear, confident communicator able to present findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Experience designing data‑collection tools, logframes, or assessment strategies.
Strong work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience working in developing/fragile contexts, behavioural‑change evaluation, or digital research is an advantage.
Interest or experience in Central and/or Eastern Europe; regional language skills (e.g., Russian, Georgian, Serbo‑Croat, Romanian) are a bonus.
