About the role
- Technology Industrialization Strategy Sr. Manager developing technology industrialization strategy for next-gen technologies at GE Aerospace. Leading initiatives and aligning cross-functional projects to meet SQDC targets.
Responsibilities
- Supports the development and execution of an integrated technology industrialization strategy and roadmap to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) ambitions for new technologies.
- Industrializes priority next-generation technologies through the development of a structured industrialization playbook and leads the execution of priority initiatives to deploy select technologies in existing or new products.
- Develops and executes a holistic new technology industrialization strategy, identifying key technologies to be incubated and critical steps to reach industrialization.
- Leads cross-functional projects around the industrialization of next-generation technologies ensuring SQDC targets.
- Partners with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to align technology options with industrial base options.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university + 5 years of experience in technology development, strategy, supply chain, or related fields
- 5+ years in aerospace engineering design/development, supply chain, operations, industrial engineering, sourcing, or strategy/transformation within complex manufacturing
- Experience with technology industrialization and scaling: taking new technologies, materials, or processes from development through validation and into production, including supplier and factory readiness.
- Demonstrated analytical and conceptual problem solving; comfort with quantitative analysis and translating complex technology and industrial constraints into clear options and recommendations.
- Familiarity with project/program management, TRL/MRL frameworks, and digital or analytical tools that support technology and industrial base decision-making.
