About the role

  • Veterinary District Sales Manager executing Vet Business Unit strategies in Virginia. Driving new business opportunities and building relationships in the veterinary sector.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for execution of the Vet Business Unit strategy and achievement of business objectives/KPI’s by identifying new opportunities and Vet influencers within a defined geography.
  • Utilize market data and drive a sustained Vet ecosystem by leveraging innovation and digital solutions.
  • Work cross functionally and responsible for developing new business in under penetrated urban centers and clinics.
  • Make daily calls in the field to customers in your assigned territory.
  • Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and market data into new business opportunities.
  • Prioritize time based on opportunity and level of clinic influence in market.
  • Provide strategic advice and help clinics build their online presence by working closely with them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B Veterinary clinic experience preferred
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30% travel.
