About the role

  • Account Manager managing customer relationships and promoting Siemens/PLM solutions. Collaborating with internal teams for project success and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage and expand existing customer relationships across our international base of approximately 400 clients
  • Advise and support customers in optimizing their PLM roadmap and in digital transformation initiatives
  • Work closely with internal teams (sales, development, support) to ensure smooth project execution
  • Present and sell our PLM solutions with a focus on Siemens software as well as our own software solutions and services
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and new customers
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term customer retention

Requirements

  • Completed foundational education and ideally a tertiary degree (HF/FH) in engineering/technical fields, industrial engineering or business informatics
  • Passion for sales and a strong interest in PLM software, particularly Siemens solutions
  • Ideally experience in account management, preferably in digitalization, PLM or technology roadmaps
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to strategically shape and develop customer relationships
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to explain complex technical solutions in simple terms
  • High self-motivation and the ability to perform successfully in dynamic environments
  • Native speaker of German or French and very good written and spoken command (min. C1) of the complementary national language (German or French)
  • Solid English skills (B2) are required. Italian language skills are desirable and considered an advantage.
