Responsibilities
Focus on relationship management both internally and externally
Work closely with Benefit Advisors throughout the sales process and life cycle of a policy
Develop deep rooted business relationships with both current and new Benefit Advisors
Ability to problem solve a variety of items from customer satisfaction to large financial decisions
Assist in the development of Benefit Advisors
Requirements
Ideally 2+ years of experience in the field of group insurance
Thorough knowledge of group life insurance, healthcare insurance, disability insurance, and underwriting
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
Excellent mathematical skills
Undergraduate diploma or equivalent ideal
Ability to act quickly and put forward innovative solutions
Ability to work and adapt in a fast‐paced and evolving environment
Strong sales and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Valid driver’s license and vehicle, given the travel needs
Designation of C.A.A.S. [certified group benefits advisor], GBA (Group Benefits Associate), or CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) is a significant asset
