About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and management of member acquisition campaigns
  • Conducting member outreach and persuading association members
  • Shaping internal communications and onboarding new members
  • Responsibility for the online member community and other membership benefits
  • Point of contact for member concerns
  • Support for regional/state chapters
  • Responsibility for the internal membership management tool
  • Building internal networks and external partnerships
  • Conducting the annual member survey

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant discipline
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Experience in customer acquisition, customer retention, and Customer Success
  • Persuasive personality with strong influencing skills
  • Knowledge of digital products and services
  • Ability to develop customer-focused products
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal (German and English – C1 level)
  • Digitally savvy and interested in entrepreneurship and the startup ecosystem
  • Well organized and flexible in working style; comfortable working in flat hierarchies
