About the role

  • Senior CRM Analyst leading Salesforce Marketing Cloud operations at a financial solutions powerhouse. Focused on optimizing automated customer journeys and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical administration and optimization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), ensuring security, access controls, and integrations.
  • Ensure the quality and compliance of the database (data hygiene, opt-out management, and deduplication prevention), administrating Data Extensions and Lists.
  • Actively monitor communication deliverability, IP warming, and send governance across multiple channels.
  • Serve as the Point of Contact and Technical Support for Marketing, Sales, Growth, and Data teams, translating business needs into scalable CRM solutions.
  • Design, build, and monitor automated customer journeys of medium to high complexity using Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
  • Execute and optimize multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, WhatsApp, Push), from segmentation through scheduling and sending.
  • Develop personalized communications using AMPscript and implement segmentation logic via SQL.
  • Manage activation of segmented SFMC/Data Cloud Audiences in paid media platforms (e.g., Google Customer Match, Meta Custom Audiences) for prospecting and suppression lists.
  • Structure data flows to send offline conversion events (e.g., 'Qualified Lead', 'Closed Sale') from Sales Cloud or SFMC back to advertising platforms (Google/Meta) to optimize bidding models.
  • Perform data ingestion, automation, and manipulation (ETL) within SFMC, using advanced SQL queries to create filters, segmentation, and complex clusters.
  • Support the design and unification of data in Salesforce Data Cloud, connecting multiple sources (Sales Cloud, apps, websites) to build a single customer profile and enable hyper-segmentation.
  • Ensure the connection and data flow between Sales Cloud (leads and customers) and Marketing Cloud (communications), making sure marketing actions are based on up-to-date information.
  • Hands-on experience using Marketing Cloud REST and SOAP APIs for custom automations and data extraction/insertion.
  • Track and report conversion funnel results, CRM KPIs, and campaign metrics.
  • Conduct performance analyses (A/B tests, lifecycle/regimen optimization) and recommend continuous improvements based on data to maximize effectiveness and customer retention.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to the Junior Analyst and other team members on SFMC best practices and CRM data architecture.
  • Maintain ongoing alignment with leadership to ensure tactical executions support CRM strategy and continually enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven and extensive experience as a Senior Analyst in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, focused on the platform's technical operation.
  • Practical mastery of core SFMC modules: Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Email Studio, Content Builder, and Audience Builder.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge for data manipulation, clustering, segmentation, and creating complex queries.
  • Experience with marketing automation and personalization of multi-channel journeys.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Analytical, proactive profile with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple teams and simultaneous demands.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud (data unification, Data Streams, Data Models).
  • Experience with AMPscript or other programming languages (e.g., JavaScript) for advanced personalization.
  • Certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Consultant, Administrator, or Developer).
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts, ETL processes, and APIs for system integration.
