About the role

  • Head of Human Resources overseeing HR across Asia MEA in alignment with global strategy and tools. Providing expert employee relations and HR advising while building leadership collaboration and alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Human Resources across Asia MEA in alignment with global strategic goals and HR frameworks, processes and tools.
  • Provide expert advice on a broad range of employment-related matters, proactively offering preventive advice and solutions on a range of employee matters, including, but not limited to, employee relations, recruiting, performance management, compensation, benefits, succession planning, and requiring advanced subject matter expertise in employment best practices.
  • Establish and operate procedures by applying global HR frameworks, processes and tools for the core Human Resources functions and ensure accountability for exceptional execution and responsive delivery consistent with the highest professional standards.
  • Navigate our matrix organization structure, fostering seamless cross-functional collaboration and ensuring that the Human Resources in Asia MEA is in sync with global strategic guidance and related processes.
  • Partner with leaders across the company, globally and in Asia MEA, on a broad range of business and legal projects including employee benefits, compensation, physical and IT security, immigration, recruiting, tax and compliance and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Comply with current laws, other regulatory agencies, and institutional and operating systems.
  • Maintain robust and transparent communication channels with the headquarters in Germany, particularly with the Global Head of HR ensuring alignment and strategic cohesion with all Members of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Mentor, inspire, and guide the HR team, instilling a culture of unity, continuous improvement, and shared purpose.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of relevant experience, with proven experience in a regional leadership position.
  • Ability to develop and manage budget(s) and complete ROIs on various programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize competing objectives and projects for self and others.
  • General knowledge of relevant employment laws across the Asia MEA region.
  • Strong writing, problem solving, decision-making, computer and business analysis skills.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking in reaching sound decisions.
