Responsibilities
- Lead the development, coordination and implementation of asset management processes, systems assurance frameworks and governance aligned to Transport’s Asset Management Framework.
- Focus on lifting asset management maturity, strengthening compliance and ensuring audit actions are closed practically and sustainably.
- Shape and deliver end-to-end programs of work in a multi-modal Transport environment including Light Rail, Ferries, Maritime, and Buses.
- Develop clear delivery plans, sequencing activity, managing dependencies, and establishing governance, controls and reporting for informed decision-making.
- Work closely with senior leaders, technical specialists and external providers to align priorities and maintain momentum across diverse stakeholders.
- Drive assurance outcomes and continuous improvement by translating audit recommendations into corrective actions and mitigating risks.
Requirements
- Strong judgement in risk, governance and performance management, and have experience leading teams and programs through change.
- Demonstrated experience implementing asset management frameworks aligned to ISO 55001.
- Proven ability to embed governance and assurance into operational environments.
- Experience operationalising processes through systems, workflows and controls.
- Strong understanding of asset owner / operator dynamics and outsourced delivery models.
- A track record of turning audit findings into sustainable business improvement.
- Comfort working at both strategic and tactical levels, able to set direction and roll up your sleeves when required.
- Exceptional stakeholder navigation skills across technical, operational and executive audiences.
