Business Development Manager driving Data & AI solutions in various sectors. Identifying leads and implementing strategic outreach for customer engagement.
Responsibilities
You identify and qualify new contacts through social selling, mailings and phone outreach, bringing our Data & AI solutions into new companies and markets.
You develop and implement smart outreach strategies to target and connect decision-makers such as CIOs, Data Leads or Heads of Analytics.
Conduct initial needs assessments and present our service portfolio in the area of Data & Cloud Services to make Data & AI tangible, relevant and compelling for our target groups.
You qualify leads and build a reliable sales pipeline – in close collaboration with the Account Executive team.
You work closely with Marketing and Sales, test new lead-generation approaches and contribute your own ideas for smarter customer engagement.
You support trade shows, events and community activities and turn contacts made there into concrete opportunities.
You maintain and document all sales activities in the CRM system (HubSpot), ensuring transparency in the sales process.
Requirements
You have first experience in B2B sales or telephone-based customer acquisition, ideally in the IT services environment.
You demonstrate strong communication skills on the phone and remain calm, professional and motivated even when cold calling.
You are interested in topics such as data platforms, BI, analytics and cloud technologies and are enthusiastic about innovation and the use of AI in a business context.
You enjoy social selling and are confident using LinkedIn and digital sales tools.
You think strategically, act pragmatically and take responsibility for your own pipeline and results.
You show creativity and initiative to find new ways of lead generation and continuously improve our outreach.
You bring a growth mindset – you want to learn, develop and grow with us.
You work independently, in a structured and motivated way and have very good German as well as solid English skills.
