About the role

  • HR Business Partner responsible for strategic HR functions at IMEG, an employee-owned engineering firm. Supporting management in HR initiatives to foster a people-first culture.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in regular meetings with respective Client Executives and teams
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues
  • Provide HR and performance management guidance to team management
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships and increase productivity
  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring of qualified job applicants
  • Assist with the facilitation of Visa Sponsorships and related HR matters

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources preferred
  • Professional Human Resources certification preferred; PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable sections of laws
  • Familiarity with human resource information systems (HRIS); Workday experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, and federal and state employment laws
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
