About the role

Responsibilities
- Provides full oversight of day-to-day mine operations
- Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental Programs
- Manages open-pit operations including drill and blast, load and haul
- Addresses production issues through regular communication with stakeholders
- Develops an engaged operating team through leadership and coaching
- Completes performance evaluations and provides feedback to direct reports
- Ensures quality reports and timely completion of investigations
Requirements
- Current BC Shiftboss Certificate
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role
- High level of proficiency with computer applications and computer-based training/investigation tools
- Experience with Modular Fleet Management System or similar
- Possess a valid Class 5/7N British Columbia driver’s license and have access to personal transportation.
