About the role

  • People Data Transformation Analyst at Howden analyzing people data and supporting HR initiatives. Engaging with global data stakeholders to evolve people analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to business-as-usual (BAU) queries related to understanding people data with accuracy and clarity.
  • Support HR data project workstreams across ongoing HR initiatives, ensuring alignment between programmes and a HR data ‘voice’ in the development of the broader function.
  • Engage with global data stakeholders and share data expertise and techniques to cultivate a data driven culture across the wider HR team.
  • Liaise with the Group Data team to implement and uphold a consistent HR data taxonomy and governance framework.
  • Ensure updates to key people data structures are accurately reflected in the master people data.
  • Contribute to the evolution of people analytics capabilities, including: Turnover and retention analysis, Employee listening and sentiment analysis, Time-to-event and survival analysis, Predictive analytics and modelling

Requirements

  • 2-3 years’ experience working in an HR function (especially people analytics)
  • Understanding of Workday HR data and key structures
  • Academic background in a statistically rigorous discipline (e.g., STEM, Economics, Psychology)
  • Experience using BI tools (such as Power BI or Tableau), data transformation tools (such as Alteryx) and programming languages (in particular, SQL, Python or R)
  • Familiarity with data governance best practices and taxonomy frameworks
