About the role

  • Senior Recruiter overseeing full-cycle recruiting for Product & Design roles at Homebase. Partnering with leadership to attract top talent and enhance candidate experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Product Management and Product Design roles—from high-impact ICs to emerging leaders—building diverse, high-performing teams that elevate our product experience.
  • Partner deeply with Product and Design leadership to understand their roadmap, challenges, and vision for the next evolution of Homebase. Translate that into targeted, actionable hiring strategies.
  • Source creatively and relentlessly. Go beyond LinkedIn: build talent communities, map out competitors, host niche events, create campaigns, and use AI tools to uncover hidden gems.
  • Champion candidate experience. You’ll treat every interaction as an opportunity to tell the Homebase story - building relationships with empathy, transparency, and respect.
  • Be data-informed, not data-bound. Use recruiting metrics to forecast, experiment, and iterate. Identify trends, bottlenecks, and continuously refine the hiring process to improve speed, quality, and equity.
  • Bring fresh ideas to the table. Introduce creative, scalable, and AI-powered recruiting solutions that help us build better and faster—without losing our human touch.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our talent brand. Partner with design and marketing to tell the story of how we build great products that make small businesses unstoppable.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including 2+ years focused specifically on Product Management and/or Product Design in high-growth tech or SaaS environments.
  • A portfolio of hires that includes top-tier PMs, designers, and design leaders—people who’ve built or shaped great products at scale.
  • A proven ability to recruit for quality and craft, not just headcount. You know what makes a great product thinker.
  • A creative sourcing mindset—you experiment, you take risks, and you don’t rely on what’s been done before.
  • Adaptability and scrappiness. You’re energized by change and thrive when you can build as you go.
  • Strong data literacy and storytelling skills—you use data to influence, guide, and build trust with stakeholders.
  • Experience using modern recruiting tools (Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, AI sourcing tools) to automate and amplify your impact.
  • A collaborative, humble, and curious spirit—someone who’s hungry to build something meaningful alongside passionate teammates.
  • You embrace AI as a core recruiting skill. You’ve used AI tools to source, engage, or analyze talent pipelines, and you can show how they’ve improved your efficiency and impact. You’re curious, data-driven, and eager to retool traditional workflows with automation — while preserving the human touch that defines a great candidate experience.
