About the role

  • HR Generalist supporting operations across gas stations and convenience stores. Focused on employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and HR training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers across operations
  • Build strong relationships with store employees and managers
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints
  • Provide guidance to managers on disciplinary actions and conflict resolution
  • Promote programs that strengthen employee morale, recognition, and retention
  • Ensure compliance with federal and local employment laws
  • Provide support for company-sponsored benefits
  • Conduct compensation reviews and analysis
  • Develop and facilitate HR training programs
  • Maintain accurate HR records and reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of HR experience; multi-location or retail/operations environment strongly preferred
  • Experience with ADP WorkforceNow strongly preferred
  • Professional certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP) desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred in Southern California
  • Knowledge of California and Oregon employment law, including wage and hour requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems required
