Sales Executive for a Swiss corporate group driving customer acquisition in the DACH region. Collaborating with teams on a Corporate Reporting SaaS platform for financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Actively acquire new customers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, and prospectively in additional European markets.
Build and maintain your own lead lists and actively research relevant industries and target contacts.
Manage the entire sales cycle: qualification, needs analysis, software demos, proposal development, contracts, and handover to delivery.
Ongoing account management and expansion of your customer portfolio, including up- and cross-selling (e.g., platform migrations, add-on modules, services).
Reporting, forecasting and maintenance of customer data.
Conduct market and competitor analyses (SaaS, reporting, corporate publishing).
Identify new business opportunities: standalone solutions, module potential, and product ideas from market feedback.
Participate in internal training, webinars and knowledge-transfer sessions.
Requirements
Approximately 2 years of sales experience in IT/digital/software environments.
Confident handling of B2B software solutions, including conducting customer demos.
Enthusiastic, communicative personality with strong presentation skills.
Technical understanding and genuine interest in complex software solutions.
Motivation to work with large enterprise customers.
Resilient and solution-oriented — you persevere despite obstacles.
Ability to work independently and strong organizational skills.
Very good German and very good English skills.
Willingness to travel: 5–8 customer meetings per month within the DACH region.
