About the role

  • Junior Account Executive at Pontosense focusing on outbound sales and deal ownership. Engage prospects, run full sales cycles, and gain exposure to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Build pipeline: Identify and engage new prospects through outbound outreach, networking, and follow-up from marketing initiatives.
  • Run full sales cycles: Lead discovery, demo, pilot, and close — guiding customers to a clear decision.
  • Own your deals: Define next steps, align stakeholders, and drive opportunities to signed agreement.
  • Focus effort where deals move: Focus on high-intent buyers and opportunities most likely to reach a decision.
  • Develop commercial judgment: Understand why customers buy, handle objections, and refine repeatable messaging from real conversations.
  • You are expected to close your first customers within your first quarter.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a BDR/SDR or sales development role
  • Confident and comfortable leading conversations
  • Curious, coachable, and hungry to grow
  • Exposure to strategy, not just scripts
  • Thrive in fast-moving environments where you can learn quickly and take on more responsibility
