About the role

  • (Junior) Software Sales Executive working on customer acquisition for a corporate reporting SaaS platform in the DACH region, collaborating with teams across Germany and Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively acquire new customers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, with potential expansion into other European markets.
  • Build and maintain your own lead lists and conduct active research in relevant industries and target accounts.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle: qualification, needs analysis, software demos, proposal development, contracts, and handover to delivery.
  • Provide ongoing account management and grow your customer portfolio, including upselling and cross-selling.
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses (SaaS, reporting, corporate publishing).
  • Identify new business opportunities: standalone solutions, module potential, and product ideas derived from market feedback.
  • Participate in internal trainings, webinars and knowledge-transfer sessions.

Requirements

  • Approximately 2 years of sales experience in the IT/digital/software environment.
  • Confident handling of B2B software solutions, including delivering customer demos.
  • Technical understanding and genuine interest in complex software solutions.
  • Very good German and very good English skills.
  • Willingness to travel: 5–8 customer visits per month across the DACH region.
