Junior Business Development & Sales Manager working with CEO to drive market growth in renewable energy. Identifying trends and engaging potential customers for smart energy solutions.
Responsibilities
You will work directly with the CEO on GreenPocket’s strategic direction.
With your broad interests, you will identify—over several months—market-relevant key elements for acquiring new direct customers from a specific segment (e.g., retail, municipalities, and the housing sector).
From your insights you will derive concrete action items and proactively initiate first contacts with potential customers.
You also welcome the regular challenge of engaging with new or amended legal requirements (including the Energy Efficiency Regulation) and assessing their impact on the company.
Additionally, you are passionate about entrepreneurship and interested in exploring growth opportunities in new markets.
Market and competitive analyses are right up your alley.
You enjoy working on market entry concepts, business models for corporate customers, and innovations; you develop Ideal Customer Profiles and sometimes take creative approaches.
You independently run your market-relevant strategic projects, but you know exactly when to involve internal stakeholders such as Sales, Product Management, Development, and Finance/Controlling, and you also coordinate with external service providers.
You demonstrate your creative abilities in the development of marketing campaigns and customer acquisition strategies.
You discuss all of your results directly with the CEO.
Requirements
You have completed a degree in economics, business administration, or a management-focused program, or you hold a comparable qualification that convinces us.
You are a quick thinker who understands complex relationships and can analyze them rapidly.
Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in business development at a software company, preferably in a startup or consulting environment.
It is desirable that you are interested in topics related to energy efficiency and AI, or that you already have experience in this area.
With very strong PowerPoint skills you captivate others with your presentations, and you are also very confident using Excel.
With very good German and English skills, you are comfortable in conversations with potential customers.
