About the role

  • Marketing Manager coordinating higher education communication activities for the VDI. Fostering institutional relationships and visibility in academic environments.

Responsibilities

  • As Marketing Manager for Higher Education Communications, you will contribute to the central development and coordination of university-related marketing and communications activities and strengthen VDI's presence and connectivity within the academic environment.
  • The position is focused on building, developing and coordinating university-related communications and offers the opportunity to actively shape structures and formats.
  • You develop target-group-specific marketing strategies to address professors and university representatives and implement them in a structured manner.
  • You design and manage communications measures to increase VDI's visibility on campuses across multiple channels.
  • You design and deliver university-related exchange and event formats to network with professors and university representatives.
  • You develop and maintain institutional relationships with universities, academic departments and relevant science-related networks.
  • You create and optimize informational materials, landing pages and mailings for university-related target groups.
  • You coordinate university-related marketing and communications measures with internal departments and volunteer stakeholders and ensure consistent implementation.
  • You analyze activities, evaluate results and derive optimizations for future initiatives.

Requirements

  • You hold a degree in marketing, communications, social sciences or a comparable field.
  • You have at least two years of professional experience in university marketing, B2B communications or audience engagement in the education or research sector.
  • You have conceptual experience in developing and structuring marketing and communications measures.
  • You have project management experience and are experienced in collaborating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • You have an affinity for technical topics and a professional interest in promoting the next generation of engineers.
  • You work in close coordination with internal departments and volunteer actors, ensuring objective and goal-oriented collaboration.
