About the role

  • Designs and delivers onboarding, product, and sales training for merchant-facing teams. Measures training impact, assesses participants, and partners with management to build sales capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver internal training programs focused on onboarding new employees, product training, and the sales process.
  • Design programs or content and select appropriate delivery methods (classroom, webcast, e-learning, etc.) to deliver training.
  • Develop and monitor metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and contribute to talent development in the commercial/sales area.
  • Analyze and develop training solutions according to instructional design theory and adapt programs based on individual client needs.
  • Assess participants against defined criteria, document feedback, and partner with management to support the development of sales organizations.

Requirements

  • A degree in a related field from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Generally, at least four (4) years of relevant professional experience in sales training OR a combination of sales and sales training experience, preferably in merchant/merchant sales.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience — professional experience in sales training OR a mix of sales and sales training, preferably in merchant sales.
  • Knowledge of merchant-facing business environments for companies that sell directly to consumers and for those that serve other businesses.
