About the role

  • Internal Sales Representative acting as primary contact with customers at Lumen. Handling inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction in electrical distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Receive customer calls and provide appropriate information regarding pricing and products, conducting research as needed.
  • Enter customer orders into the system.
  • Follow up with customers on orders in progress.
  • Track corporate requests, analyze reports and take action.
  • Take necessary steps to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner and ensure follow-up.
  • Proactively suggest related and/or alternative products when appropriate.
  • Keep technical product knowledge up to date.
  • Other related duties.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of experience in customer service and sales
  • DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in Electrical/Electronics or sales training (an asset)
  • Good knowledge of the electrical distribution market
