About the role

  • Sales Team Lead empowering a team of Business Developers at Deliveroo. Focused on meeting sales targets and mentoring new talent for restaurant partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead your Business Development Manager (BDM) team to consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Clearly communicate company directives, sales objectives, and the reasoning behind them (the Why).
  • Be an accessible mentor: maintain a regular presence on the sales floor and support urgent partner issues.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with team members to improve key metrics (sales activities, P2P, quality metrics, conversion, etc.).
  • Provide actionable feedback tailored to individual sales reps’ performance and career growth.
  • Drive team motivation and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Enforce and implement company policies and team-level procedures, including attendance and disciplinary standards.
  • Strategically improve team output and uplift critical performance metrics.
  • Foster a culture focused on excellent sales support.
  • Identify, design, and refine efficient processes and methodologies for your sales team.
  • Collaborate with onboarding teams to efficiently activate top restaurants across France.
  • Represent and uphold Deliveroo’s values and brand.

Requirements

  • Fluent in French and English.
  • 4+ years of experience in sales; B2B experience is a plus.
  • 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
  • Drive to excel in a fast-paced environment and contribute to an impactful company.
  • Willingness to take on challenges and step outside your comfort zone.
  • Passion for developing and motivating teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to make decisive decisions, especially under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
