Join Givaudan as a Junior Key Account Manager managing designated accounts in the fragrance industry. Grow business, manage relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction with guidance from experienced leaders.
Responsibilities
Under supervision, grow Givaudan business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines
Cultivate and manage customer relationships within portfolio of accounts
Monitor customer and competitor activity and maintain customer information
Track Account Plans for key accounts
Develop and deliver internal and customer presentations
Identify/create opportunities for Givaudan to participate in targeted briefs
Identify customer requirements and follow up on customer submission
Transition customer projects and new wins from scale-up to production
Follow KPIs versus targets (Sales, Gross Profit, win rate…) and take corrective actions if necessary
Negotiate pricing agreements within guidelines
Manage credit, pricing, rebates and budget etc. for key accounts
Manage and resolve customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution
Comply with all appropriate Givaudan and statutory EHS and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
University degree (or equivalent)
5-8 years of commercial work experience, preferably from the fragrance industry
1+ years' functional/technical experience in the chemical industry would be an advantage
Flexibility to travel outside of Algeria
Excellent verbal and written command of English, French and Arabic
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers
Strong communication skills
Competence in developing and delivering compelling presentations
Demonstrates a strong sense of accountability
Basic negotiation skills
Good business acumen
