About the role
- Chief of Staff supporting the Electrification CEO in strategic initiatives. Work directly with leadership to enhance value creation across GE Vernova's Electrification Systems segment.
Responsibilities
- Acting as right-hand of the CEO when it comes to the general management of the segment and leading strategic initiatives across the segment Business Lines to generate a higher level of value creation at segment headquarters level.
- Partnering with the Electrification Systems CEO and leadership team to develop and execute strategies that tackle operational, organizational, and team challenges across the Electrification segment.
- Supporting the development and operationalization of the operating rhythm, ensuring adequate flow of information for preparation before the meetings and follow-ups after.
- Acting as central point of coordination for key document preparation and documentation.
- Helping design and optimize effective leadership meetings and offsites.
- Supporting ESY CEO in specific research, data analysis and synthesis to support team discussions and decision making.
- Preparing top Management C-level customer/supplier/partner meetings and ensuring the right level/update of segment presentations in coordination with communication.
- Driving the strategy execution roadmap, connecting it seamlessly with Hoshin Kanri and Daily management, help translate it into annual priorities and support the roll out across the organization, creating transparency and alignment across all parts of the business and internal communications.
- Leading cross functional initiatives on behalf of ESY staff, resolving bottlenecks and bringing structure to support effective collaboration and change management in different fields.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in a relevant field of study, or equivalent knowledge/experience.
- Understanding of the business with demonstrated success in a leadership role where you had a hand in driving operational excellence on that team.
- A proven highly proficient contributor who can proactively identify problems, develop a clear action plan, and execute that plan to drive impact across an organization.
- Self-capability to produce presentations and memo of professional quality in a timely manner.
- Experience in sales & marketing, project management, consulting, operations, or leadership roles.
- Ability to travel internationally ~30% of the time.
