  • Chief of Staff providing executive partnership and operational support to the CEO at Allwyn UK. Driving organizational impact through strategic initiatives and consumer-focused innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation for high-stakes presentations and stakeholder engagements
  • Act as sounding board for complex decisions and organizational challenges
  • Own and manage the CEO’s agenda, ensuring top priorities remain visible, sequenced and resourced.
  • Anticipate risks, opportunities and decision needs ahead of time—providing synthesised options and recommendations.
  • Shape and run strategic decision forums that drive clarity and timely action.
  • Prepare the CEO for key internal and external engagements with proactive, insight-led briefing materials.
  • Act as an organisational leader for the CEO in selected meetings to maintain momentum and alignment.
  • Lead selective CEO sponsored strategic and operational projects.
  • Design and continuously improve the operating rhythm of the CEO Office and Executive, including team meetings, status updates, and decision-making forums
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions that scale
  • Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into team performance
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies and resolve bottlenecks
  • Work closely with the CEO & Chair’s Executive Assistant to manage all CEO related matters, including diary prioritisation, summit and external event planning and related matters,
  • Oversee Chair, Board and CEO budgets.
  • Manage incoming correspondence on behalf of the CEO, including customer complaints requiring review or escalation.
  • Partner with Executive team to develop the strategic plan for the business and then track the execution and achievement of milestones.
  • Ensure leadership coherence, consistent messaging, timely decisions, unified prioritisation.
  • Ensure effective operation of the Executive Team, including weekly meetings, quarterly performance reviews and offsites.
  • Support onboarding of senior leaders and act as a key interface across the business.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Finance Officer and Chief Security Officer to establish a unified dashboard covering key operational, financial, security, technology and people metrics for data-driven performance oversight.
  • Work with the Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer to implement the new governance strategy that embeds accountability and transparent progress tracking.
  • Lead quarterly planning cycles and monthly KPI review sessions
  • Partner with Director of Talent and Chief People & Places Officer to ensure alignment across executive and SALT development work.
  • Partner with the People Director and CPPO to ensure Executive priorities align with the P&P strategic priorities.
  • In partnership with the CEO and Company Secretary, shape strategic narratives and materials for the Board
  • Proactively manage agendas and produce high quality materials for strategic, reputational and licence critical matters.
  • Lead planning for the annual Board offsite.
  • Prepare executive briefings, board materials, and leadership presentations
  • Represent in meetings and forums as needed
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
  • Shift reporting from backward-looking updates to forward-looking insight and decision recommendations.
  • Synthesise trends and early warnings for the CEO and Exec.
  • Lead reporting across Allwyn’s key stakeholder groups, including:
  • 4NL Executive Team: weekly meetings, quarterly reviews
  • AEL Board: weekly updates, monthly meetings
  • SALT: monthly engagements and leadership effectiveness work
  • Shareholder / Allwyn Group: bimonthly steering committees, quarterly investor reporting‑monthly steering committees, quarterly investor reporting
  • Distributors: quarterly CEO Forum
  • Government: support Public Affairs with briefs and materials for regular stakeholder meetings

Requirements

  • Executive level support experience, ideally partnering directly with a CEO or Executive Team in a complex, fast paced organisation.
  • Strong strategic judgement, with the ability to anticipate issues, synthesise information quickly and provide clear, insight led recommendations.
  • Proven experience managing senior stakeholders, including Boards, shareholders, external partners and cross functional leadership teams.
  • Exceptional organisational and operational capability, with a record of accomplishment of managing high-stake priorities, sensitive information and multiple time critical workflows.
  • Experience leading or coordinating strategic projects or programmes with strong governance and delivery discipline.
  • Effective communication and storytelling skills, capable of producing high-quality materials for executive and Board audiences.
  • Confident analytical skills, able to navigate data, interpret insights and support performance reporting.
  • Experience navigating corporate governance or regulated environments.
  • Ability to work with discretion, resilience, and sound judgement, maintaining calm and professionalism under pressure.
