About the role

  • People Operations Specialist ensuring effective HR services at Falck. Supporting the HR team with administration, consultative roles, and process optimization in Hamburg.

Responsibilities

  • Operational HR administration: handling HR matters from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Drafting employment contracts, reference letters and other personnel documents.
  • Managing and maintaining employee master data, including hires, terminations and contract changes, ensuring data quality.
  • Staffing the HR hotline as a knowledgeable point of contact for employees and applicants.
  • Advising employees and managers on operational HR-related questions.
  • Preparing analyses, reports and similar documentation.
  • Contributing to the implementation, further development and optimization of processes, tools and systems for HR administration.
  • Participating in special tasks and strategic projects to achieve HR administration objectives.
  • Close, active and confidential collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., works council, authorities, external service providers) and adjacent departments (payroll, recruiting, academy).

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in HR in a similar position, e.g., as an HR specialist.
  • Solid knowledge of labor law and works constitution law (co-determination).
  • Reliable team player with an independent hands-on mentality, high empathy and strong communication skills.
  • Openness to new approaches in HR/people management.
  • Resilience and the ability to work independently, combined with prioritization and problem-solving skills.
  • Conscientiousness, consistency, discretion and a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint). Solid experience with HR management systems is required (Oracle advantageous); knowledge of workforce scheduling/time management and recruiting systems is desirable.
  • Completed commercial training or a business degree with a focus on HR.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and good conversational English skills due to our corporate headquarters in Denmark.
