About the role

  • Head of People leading HR function for a fast-growing, tech-driven scale-up group providing services for internationals. Building strategic workforce plans and enhancing employee engagement post-merger.

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead and develop the HR function across the group
  • Drive strategic workforce planning in close collaboration with the executive team
  • Lead culture and change management initiatives in a post‑merger environment
  • Design and implement leadership development programs and provide executive coaching to managers
  • Harmonize HR systems and processes across merged entities
  • Ensure HR compliance (employment law, internal policies, data protection, etc.)
  • Oversee all operational people matters: recruiting, onboarding, payroll, learning & development
  • Serve as a strategic sparring partner for the management team and department heads on all HR-related matters
  • Monitor and improve employee satisfaction, retention and engagement
  • Implement and maintain a scalable performance and feedback system

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of HR experience, ideally in start-ups or scale-ups
  • Proven leadership experience building and leading HR teams
  • Strong expertise in organizational development, culture and leadership enablement
  • Track record of implementing holistic people strategies; experience with post-merger integrations is a plus
  • Experience managing remote or hybrid work environments
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and HR regulatory topics
  • Excellent communication skills with C-level stakeholders in English; German is a plus
