Responsibilities
Provide daily support to employees on HR policies and procedures
Help maintain positive employee relations by fostering a respectful communication climate
Prepare documentation related to stages of the employee lifecycle
Ensure accuracy of employee records and HRIS data
Contribute to data collection, report production, and preparation of HR metrics and presentations
Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective implementation of HR initiatives
Assist with the recruitment process by posting job ads and organizing interviews
Coordinate onboarding procedures for new hires
Provide administrative support for employee benefits programs
Contribute to the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures
Organize internal training sessions by scheduling sessions and preparing materials
Support initiatives that reinforce company values and enhance the employee experience
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of three (3) years of human resources experience in a generalist role
Excellent knowledge of Quebec labour standards and employment law
Knowledge of key regulations in other Canadian provinces (BC, AB, ON) — an asset
Solid knowledge of HR policies and procedures
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Professional conduct and discretion
Team player with a collaborative, support-focused approach
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Rigor in recordkeeping and HR reporting
Proficiency with HRIS and applicant tracking systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Fluency in English is required for this position.
