About the role

  • Workforce Development Specialist developing pathways for future healthcare workers across the system. Collaborating with leaders to identify and grow talent pipelines within Essentia Health.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and leading system workforce development efforts and program support
  • Partner with clinical, physician, business, and operations leaders to identify, develop, and grow new talent pipelines
  • Create programs that include developing pathways to educate tomorrow’s physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Collaborate in support of an effective process of recruitment and selection tailored to business needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a preference in human resources, business management, or related field
  • 5 years of related HR, Workforce Development, or other relevant experience
  • Experience in program development, community networking, and advocacy at the local or state level preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare with preference given for clinical experience
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office specific to Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint required
