Responsibilities
Develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of products and solutions.
Review and analyze customer requirements to determine which product will be the best fit.
Create customer proposals in compliance with company standards and contract language.
Prepare configurations, equipment lists, clarifications and exceptions in response to customer requests for use by other departments.
Act as the customer contact regarding quotations, technical information, pricing, scheduling and shipping.
Coordinate expediting activities with other departments to assure accuracy in pricing, delivery and invoicing.
Enter orders into the system for customers.
Make pricing decisions based on previous standards regularly.
Interact effectively with all levels of employees within the company, as well as suppliers, customers and peers.
Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the company.
Follow quality assurance policies and other work instructions.
Assist with special projects and other tasks assigned by the General Manager or Sales Manager.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Minimum one year of relevant work experience (Inside or technical sales preferred)
Ability to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English is required
Strong interpersonal skills with listening, consultative and problem-solving skills
Proficient in MS Office products, specifically Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop or other
Can handle complex projects and tasks independently within established standards
Able to handle multiple responsibilities at a time and be self-motivated and proactive
Thrives in a team environment with an appreciation of aggressive goals
