About the role

  • Key Account Manager overseeing strategic accounts at epay, a global payment service provider. Driving account development, client relations, and project management with major partners.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of key accounts: You will take full, autonomous responsibility for our top key accounts — both operationally and strategically.
  • Account development & growth: You will strategically develop existing key accounts, identify potential, and expand long-term customer relationships.
  • Proposal & contract management: You will lead proposal and contract negotiations, manage rollouts, and accompany complex customer projects through to successful completion.
  • New business & tenders: You will be responsible for tenders and pitches and actively work to acquire new key accounts.
  • Stakeholder & project management: You will act as the interface between clients and internal departments, taking on project management as well as reporting and analysis.

  • Experience & seniority: You have 10 years of relevant professional experience in key account management.
  • Industry expertise: You bring solid experience from the payments or banking industry.
  • Negotiation skills: You have in-depth experience conducting proposal, contract, and pricing negotiations with decision-makers.
  • Working style & personality: You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner, present yourself confidently, and demonstrate strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel: You are willing to visit customers in person (at least once a year per customer) and to attend trade shows.
