Inside Sales Engineer in Warsaw managing sales support activities for achieving strategic targets. Collaborating with outside sales and ensuring high quality proposals and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Respond to incoming customer inquiries via e-mail and telephone, acting as the primary internal point of contact for technical clarifications.
Analyze process data and perform technical sizing of control valves using specialized software, ensuring the selection of optimal solutions (sliding stem or rotary) based on fluid dynamics, material compatibility, and severe service requirements (cavitation, noise, etc.)
Troubleshoot technical inquiries and ensure compliance with industry standards (PED, NACE, API), proposing alternative engineering solutions when standard products do not meet specific customer needs or process conditions
Prepare and submit high-quality technical and commercial proposals in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy in pricing, lead times, and scope of supply
Negotiate standard commercial terms (within agreed Delegation of Authority) and follow up on open quotations to maximize conversion rates.
Support Outside Sales Engineers by providing technical expertise, preparing background data for negotiations, and handling administrative sales tasks Maintain a quotation and order tasks list in the associated tools like CRM, etc.
Maintain correspondence visibility for any arrangements & agreements as well as information exchanged related quotation, order and service activities by utilizing a cloud storage system like OCM and any other, if applicable.
Oversee, ensure and personally support the execution of contractual terms committed to customers in all business transactions.
Continuously drive the improvement of customer satisfaction by understanding, communicating and executing solutions to their needs.
Maintain and continuously develop high level of products and technologies knowledge required to perform the job.
Ensure that all transactions are properly screened and recorded in accordance with the company’s Trade Compliance procedures and escalate any concerns or questions to the local Gatekeeper.
Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Inside Sales related positions
Engineering degree or comparable technical education
Strong proficiency in Office Package and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Polish. Fluent in English.
Willingness to travel occasionally in the region and internationally (a few times a year)
