About the role

  • Sales Engineer supporting technical aspects of sales in the tech industry. Collaborating with teams to drive technical sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Technical support for the sales team
  • Responsibility for technical questions in sales
  • Analyze, validate and classify consultative customer inquiries
  • Proactive communication to identify customer needs
  • Support during proof-of-concept phases
  • Close collaboration with Product Management, Operations and C-level
  • Bring technical customer feedback into internal alignment processes

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in sales engineering, pre-sales or technical consulting
  • Technical background in infrastructure, engineering, or software context is an advantage
  • Excellent technical understanding
  • Structured, analytical and independent working style
  • Sales-oriented and solution-focused support for customer inquiries
  • Professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders at decision-maker level
  • Excellent German (C2) and good English (B2+)
