Lead Marketing Manager driving brand and content strategy for a global customer intelligence platform. Responsible for executing global campaigns and enhancing organic growth with a high-performing marketing team.
Responsibilities
Lead Dovetail’s Brand & Content function. Set a clear strategy, define measurable goals, and build a high-performing team that consistently delivers thoughtful, high-quality work.
Own Dovetail’s global content strategy. Shape and execute content across formats—blog, long-form guides, case studies, video, email, and beyond—ensuring it supports the full customer journey from awareness through adoption and expansion.
Brand stewardship and voice. Serve as the chief steward of the Dovetail brand, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone of voice, and visual identity across all communication channels globally. You will lead the creation of foundational brand guidelines.
Partner across marketing leadership. Work closely with the Creative Director and Web Engineering Lead to plan and deliver ambitious, integrated campaigns that raise the bar creatively and commercially.
Drive durable organic growth. Elevate our thought leadership and organic presence. Partner with our web team to optimize our GEO strategy to maximize organic traffic and conversions. Identify and champion key thought leadership themes that cement Dovetail's position as a category leader.
Cross-functional alignment. Work cross-functionally with Design, Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure brand and content meaningfully support sales enablement, product education, and customer expansion.
Performance reporting: Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Brand and Content function, including traffic, engagement, organic pipeline contribution, and brand sentiment, using data to inform and iterate on strategy.
Requirements
Proven experience leading brand and content marketing, with the ability to set a clear direction and translate strategy into high-quality execution across multiple formats.
Strong leadership skills, including experience mentoring team members, setting clear goals, and creating an environment where great work and growth can happen.
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling ability with a sharp eye for messaging—able to define and uphold a consistent global brand voice, tone, and standards across channels.
Strategic, cross-functional mindset with demonstrated ability to partner closely with teams to deliver integrated campaigns and aligned content.
Deep understanding of organic growth and content performance, including comfort partnering on SEO/GEO initiatives and developing thought leadership themes that build market presence.
Data-informed approach to marketing, with experience defining KPIs and using performance insights (traffic, engagement, pipeline contribution, brand sentiment) to iterate and improve outcomes.
High ownership and sound judgment - comfortable acting as a brand steward, making decisions, and raising the quality bar for every piece of communication shipped.
Adaptable mindset with the confidence to embrace ambiguous challenges, shift direction quickly, and maintain high-quality output in fast-moving, fluid environments.
