About the role

  • Business Development Lead focusing on U.S. and foreign defense training markets within Cubic. Developing and capturing opportunities in aviation training and simulation sectors with a strong emphasis on strategic customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and capture business opportunities targeting 4th, 5th, and 6th Generation domestic and worldwide markets
  • Work with both U.S. and non-U.S. aircraft manufacturers and industry partners
  • Lead all elements of assigned capture activities from opportunity identification to post submission requirements
  • Perform marketing, trade show and advertisement activities as assigned
  • Assist in developing and marketing new training solutions for air, space, and cyber training infrastructure

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Defense Studies, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of U.S. defense business development experience, specifically within aviation training and simulation market
  • Deep knowledge of tactical aircraft acquisition practices, requirements generation, and/or test and evaluation activities
  • Familiarity with Coalition aviator and maintenance training
  • Comprehensive knowledge of aviation training requirements and acquisition methodology
  • Ability to build customer trust and develop strategies that lead to measurable wins
  • Effective communicator with strong presentation and relationship-building skills
  • US Citizenship required
  • Must have, or be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance
  • Must be willing to travel
