About the role

  • Brand Manager executing marketing strategy for hematology products at CSL Behring. Managing brand performance and leading cross-functional collaboration in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of the 3‑year strategic plan for assigned products, including market analysis, competitive intelligence, forecasting, and identification of current and future market access requirements
  • Develop, implement, and manage the annual operating plan, ensuring delivery of brand revenue, sales, volume, and market share objectives
  • Co‑chair the cross‑functional Therapy Area Team (TAT), providing leadership to enable effective execution of strategic and operational plans
  • Monitor sales performance, market insights, and competitor activity, recommending corrective actions where required
  • Manage the brand A&P budget, ensuring effective phasing, control, and delivery against agreed targets
  • Represent the UK affiliate at EU and other regional meetings, ensuring UK market needs are clearly communicated and understood
  • Develop and manage external supplier and agency relationships, including regular performance reviews
  • Lead the development of promotional materials, ensuring full compliance with the ABPI Code of Practice, internal SOPs, certification processes, and MHRA requirements
  • Support the planning and execution of national and international congresses, including materials approval and stand concepts
  • Ensure full compliance with CSL Behring UK and global policies, including adverse event reporting, quality requirements, and mandatory training

Requirements

  • Postgraduate qualification such as an MBA or commercial/marketing qualification
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or similarly regulated healthcare industry
  • Proven experience in a marketing, brand management, or commercial role
  • Experience working in a cross‑functional matrix environment, collaborating with sales, market access, medical, regulatory, and supply chain teams
  • Strong understanding of brand planning, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against commercial objectives
  • High level of compliance awareness, with experience working in line with industry codes of practice (e.g. ABPI)
  • Previous pharmaceutical sales experience, ideally within a specialist or hospital‑focused setting
  • Experience within a specialist, rare disease, or complex therapy area
  • Exposure to European or regional stakeholder collaboration, including participation in EU projects, meetings, or taskforces
  • Experience managing external agencies and suppliers
  • Experience supporting or leading national and international congress activity
