About the role

  • Sales Development Representative helping industrial companies navigate market volatility through AI-powered forecasting. Opportunity for remote work after successful onboarding in Porto.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize target companies using clear criteria: industrial players with €100M–€1B in revenue and significant exposure to raw material price volatility.
  • Map key stakeholders within each company—CEO, CFO, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales—and tailor your approach for each role.
  • Design and test multi-touch outbound campaigns that combine cold calls and emails, driven by hypotheses you measure and refine.
  • Lead conversations using concrete, real-world scenarios (e.g., planning or procurement challenges) with the objective of guiding prospects toward pilot projects ("Simulate 2024").
  • Qualify leads step by step, from initial interest through decision stage, and document recurring patterns such as objections or blockers.
  • Share market insights with the founders to help refine the product narrative and messaging based on what resonates in real conversations.
  • As a Lead Generation Specialist, create a repeatable system for securing discovery calls and pilot projects with top-tier industrial clients.

Requirements

  • Experience in outbound B2B sales is a strong advantage—but not mandatory if you bring the right energy and mindset.
  • Comfortable picking up the phone and figuring things out as you go; drive, curiosity, and a willingness to learn by doing are what matter most.
  • Clear, concise communicator in writing, on the phone, and with professional audiences.
  • English at C1 level is required; an additional European language at C level is a plus.
  • Enjoy testing and iterating: you work with hypotheses, track what works, and continuously refine your approach.
  • Open to learning about industrial markets, including raw material volatility and procurement and supply chain logic.
  • Hands-on, self-driven, and ready to build repeatable lead-generation processes from scratch.
  • Keep detailed notes, structure your CRM, and create learning loops.
  • Proactive: you don't wait for leads—you create them.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary: a strong full-time salary package with performance bonuses for every qualified meeting you secure—giving a direct connection between results and rewards.
  • Startup ownership: full freedom to design, test, and optimize outbound campaigns that convert.
  • Relocation support: assistance with logistics, housing, and onboarding connections for on-site onboarding or if you choose to move to Porto.
  • Modern office in Porto: work from a bright, well-equipped office in Maia, just outside Porto, with good access and infrastructure.
  • On-site start with remote option: begin on-site to build rhythm and results—remote flexibility available after strong performance.
  • Meal subsidy and full setup: daily meal support and modern hardware ensure you’re fully equipped from day one.
  • Flat hierarchy, high impact: report directly to the founders and help shape sales strategy through real-time market feedback.
  • Onboarding with real support: a dedicated team and founder access ensure you’re not left figuring things out alone.
  • Team culture: join a small, international team with regular events like BBQs, game nights, and informal after-work hangouts.
