Strategic Human Resources Manager leading HR function at TriState Light & Energy during growth phase. Overseeing recruiting, onboarding, and HR administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Responsibilities
Oversee Professional Employer Organization (PEO) relationship.
Manage full-cycle recruiting.
Drive staff recruitment and ensure seamless onboarding experience for new team members.
Coordinate external HR consultants and administer reviews.
Handle HR administrative tasks and manage administrative staff.
Develop and implement HR plan with objectives and strategies.
Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree (BA) from four-year college or university (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field).
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus.
SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
5+ years of HR experience, and recruiting.
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in energy, engineering, or technical industries a plus.
PEO oversight highly desired.
Outstanding written and verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.
Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment with multiple concurrent deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, ADP Total Source, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat/Reader.
